From the Delaware River to the Jersey Shore
Central New Jersey Council, BSA
History, Patches, Memories

The never ending history of Boy Scouts in the area now known as the Central New Jersey Council, BSA. The original council site, created in 1995 as one of the first Scout web sites, integrated with the Virtual Patch Library provides quick access to the story of the lodges, councils and camps that have existed over the years, and the popular Eagle resources.

Email to this web site will be forwarded to Council as appropriate.

Patches

This site was started as the George Washington Council website in 1995, one of the very first Scouting sites on the web. Council now mirrors most of our Patches and History section.

Material on this site does not represent in any way the Boy Scouts of America or any organization connected with the Boy Scouts of America. We make absolutely no guarantee as to the accuracy, quality, or timeliness of the information on this site.

There is a lot more history to add,
but it will take some time to live it.

Out of Council Camps

A collection of camps that are related, in some way, to the area being served by the current Central New Jersey Council. Rosemary and I have visited each of these camps or, at least, where the camp was once located.
