The Boroughof Pennington encourages and supports the MCIA's recycling program.

Hazardous Material: Oil base paint, paint thinneer, aerosol cans, pesticides, pool chemicals, stains, varnishes, anti-freez, etc.

Watch your local newspaper for listings in April and September

Yellow Bucket Green Bucket
Glass food and beverage jars and bottles (clear, green, and brown). Newspapers and inserts.
Aluminum food and beverage cans. Magazines, catalogs and "junk mail".
Steel food and beverage cans and decorative steel cans such as cookie tins and band-aid boxes. School, copier and computer paper.
Plastic soda bottles, plastic water and milk bottles. Dry food boxes (remove liners).
Plastic #2 detergent, shampoo and hair spray bottles (solid white or colored bottles). White and colored stationery.

Powdered detergent boxes.

Shoe and gift boxes, paper bags.

Corrugated cardboard can either be placed inside the green bucket, tied, or placed loose at the curb.
