A View of North Main Street

This looks like the late 1920s or maybe early 1930s. Any car buffs out there that can recognize the make or year of the cars? I believe the Pennington Quality Market would be the building with the big awning, hidden by the car. Notice the second story windows appear to be unchanged in the more current photograph.

The last two letters of the sign on the next building appear to be a capital GS. Again, does this mean anything to you?
